Please join us for a celebration of our region’s long tradition of giving and civic engagement – and a look toward our collective future – at the 2024 Foundation For The Carolinas Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 18, from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Charlotte Convention Center. Hear from our new President and CEO Cathy Bessant and other Foundation leaders as we highlight the many ways your community foundation, our fundholders, local nonprofits, companies and more are making an impact throughout our region.
Noelle Russell is an award-winning technologist and thought leader in the field of artificial intelligence. After giving birth to a child with Down syndrome, Noelle became passionate about designing technology that would be accessible to those with special needs. She joined the Amazon team that launched Alexa and built more than 100 conversational AI applications. Fortuitously, when her father sustained a traumatic brain injury, he also benefited from the voice user interface.
Currently the global AI solutions lead at Accenture, Noelle’s technical background and inspirational storytelling bring valuable insight on how artificial intelligence can benefit humanity and create a more inclusive world.
