Sean Seifert

Sean Seifert serves as the Carolina Theatre Executive at Foundation for the Carolinas. After directing the final construction and commissioning phases of the Carolina Theatre renovation, he manages the ongoing operations of the theatre. 

In 2013, the City of Charlotte awarded the Carolina Theatre to the Foundation, which launched a capital campaign that has grown from $51.5 million to over $78 million. The theatre will primarily host civic events with secondary uses to include film, arts and entertainment and serve as additional conference space for the Foundation.

Joining the Foundation for the Carolinas in 2022, Sean most recently oversaw the implementation of updated facility control and management systems along with other projects. He also provided technical construction assistance to the Carolina Theatre project during that time.

As a licensed General Contractor, Seifert has extensive experience in commercial and residential construction. He also has a strong background in technology integration and business operations, helping direct the US National Whitewater Center through a period of intense growth before launching his own custom home construction business in 2016.

Sean attended Ohio State University for Aerospace Engineering. Originally from Mansfield, Ohio, he later relocated to Charlotte in 2005.
