Civic leadership and engagement have the power to transform communities, respond to our biggest challenges and embrace our most promising opportunities. 

Join us April 22 for a virtual conversation about the future of civic leadership with FFTC President, Laura Yates Clark. Laura will share insights and future plans for the Foundation’s unique role in convening, connecting and leading around major civic initiatives. Most importantly, we want to hear from you — the nonprofits doing vital work in our community — as we shape our collective vision.

Join Foundation For The Carolinas in partnership with the Charlotte Center for Mindfulness to discover the transformative potential of mindfulness! This workshop will introduce local nonprofit professionals to the practice while highlighting its profound benefits. From stress reduction and improved focus to enhanced leadership skills, participants will learn how mindfulness can empower them in their personal and professional lives.

Attendees will be introduced to the Charlotte Center for Mindfulness' array of specialized classes, providing opportunities for continued growth and wellbeing. Join us for this enlightening experience to cultivate resilience, compassion and purpose in your nonprofit journey.

Please join Foundation For The Carolinas and the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits for a conversation with nonprofit leaders and local elected officials about public policy issues relevant to Charlotte area nonprofits and the people and communities they serve. The Center will provide a briefing on nonprofit sector trends and potential public policy solutions and challenges for nonprofits in 2025 and beyond.

The Nonprofit Policy Conversation will also include discussions about state and federal public policy issues of interest to local nonprofits.
